Through author Randy Vogt's three decades plus of officiating more than 8,000 soccer games, he has seen many problems on fields that could have been avoided. If only this official had a better understanding of the rules and how they apply to the division and skill level being played. Or that official had actually run up and down the field or had a better attitude toward the game and its players.
